Barak grabbed a water bottle and walked to the porch, Saleh looked at his

 friend, he knew that something was wrong.

Saleh was really shocked: o radait?

Barak nodded.

Saleh: TISTA3BI6? Barak 7abebe tizawajt tara!! Mita ib tistaw3ib? atmana inik giltlaha inik mitzawij?

Barak didn’t reply.

Saleh: MA GILTLAHA INIK TIZAWAJT? La la inta yanait rasmi!!!

Saleh froze in his place, he knew Fay very well and he was shocked that she didn’t know that Barak got married, Her stalking skills made her know everything about everyone.

Lama sat with the cookie jar on her lap.

Shoug: shfeech?

Shoug: omi ma rithat sum3at’ha mu thak el zood

Lama: o laish ma giltele Shoug? Laish ma giltay?

Lama felt so chocked up.

Shoug: Lama walaaa galina ina khalas hadha!!! O misa7 arqamha!! O mala ay 3alaqa feha!!

Lama: dagat 3alaih el yoom 3gub el ghada

Shoug gasped.

Lama: o giltla ykhtar baini o bainha o ma raad 3alay

Shoug sat beside Lama, she couldn’t believe that Barak didn’t pick Lama over Fay.

Saleh: Barak inta eb nafsik ga3id tgoul ina Lama khosh wa7da o ma ga9arat wiyak eb shay hatha wiyha tadre ina fe wa7da ghairha!

Barak sighed.

Saleh: ana agoul dig 3ala Fay al7en o goulaha inik tizawajt o bas la tdig 3alaik windagat btshof shay ma ysirha!

Barak grabbed the phone and called Fay.

“Alooo!”

Barak: hala Fay

Fay: ahlaaain!!!

Barak: Fay ana dag 3ashan agoulch shay wasida

Fay: goul!!

Barak: ana tizawajt  o magdar bas akamil wiyach magdar athlimha!

Fay was silent for a moment: t7ibha?

Barak was silent, he really liked Lama but he wasn’t sure if he was in love with her, and with Fay it was perfect and he missed it.

Fay: Barak?

Barak really missed Fay, but didn’t want to be unfair with Lama.

Barak: Fay please qadray mawqifi

Lama sat on the cold sand, she felt it with her hand,  her ipod was on shuffle and she enjoyed the peaceful moment she was in.

Show me that you don’t care and I’ll stay here if you prefer, yes I’ll leave you..without a word.

Birdy’s soft voice went through Lama’s ears, the song really said what she’s feeling.

She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder.

Lama: shoug shfeech?

Shoug: Lama bagoulch shay

Lama: goulay!! Sh9yir?

Shoug: Mama Noura bil mistashfa!

Lama: NA3AAM? Shoug al7een n7dir!! AL7EEEN

Lama rushed to Shoug’s car.

Barak felt like texting Lama, just to check on her but he knew that she won’t reply.

Lama walked through the white halls of the hospital, the smell of hospitals made her feel sick, she always tried to avoid hospitals as much as she could.

Lama: 3azziiiz!! Sh9aaar?!!

Aziz: mafeeha ela el3afya!!

Lama: i7lif!!!

Aziz: wala!! 9arlaha cham youm mu makhtha 7bob el thagh6 fa irtifa3 wayed!

Lama: waaay!! Laish tsawe chithi ib 3umrha!! Wainha?

Aziz: dakhil wel dictor wiyaha ni6ray shway!

Lama sighed and sat down.

Shoug: el 7imdallah mafeha shay!!

Lama nodded and whispered “el7imdallah”

Shoug grabbed her mobile and sent Barak a text:

Mama Noura bil mistashfa, ana o Lama 3indaha.

Ay mistashfa?

Shoug sent Barak the details.

Lama knew the voice she just heard, she knew it too well.

Grandmother: hala Baraak!! Hala 7abebe!!

Barak: salamaat!! Ma tshofeen shar yal ghalya!

Lama avoided eye contact with Barak, he beside Aziz, he can directly see Lama but she can’t.

The doctor came into the room and informed them that Mama Noura had to sleep for the night.

Shoug: ahale 7daraw o yayeen!

Grandmother: laa Yuma! Ma tiswa elsa3a garibat t9er tisi3! La yta3bon 3umrhom!

Lama: Shoug emshay khal ayeeb hdoum!!

Shoug: btnamen?

Shoug looked at Barak.

Aziz: la Lama intay ro7ay wana anam!

Lama: la 3aziz 7aram!! Murtik bro7ha bil bait!

Barak: ee 9a7 kalam Lama, 3aziz rid baitik wi7na mawjoden

Lama waited for Aziz to leave then looked at Barak: ana mawjoda.. ana bro7i  banam hne!

Barak sighed and nodded: adre imshay inyeeb jan6itich

Lama: baro7 wiya Shoug

Barak: Shoug lazm trid el bait bas t2akhar el wagt!!

Shoug was afraid that Mama Noura would notice the tension between Lama and Barak.

They walked outside.

Shoug: khalas Barak khal Lama trid wiyay!

Barak: Shoug tiwakilay o ana aridha el bait o ayebha hne mara thanya!

Lama: mani ray7a wala mukan wiyak!!

Barak: min gaal ina ib kaifich?

Lama looked at Shoug, Shoug smiled and winked.

Lama was silent all the way, Barak parked in front of baking tray: ni6rene shway o yay!

Barak walked inside, Lama saw his wallet, he forgot it!

Lama: iff! Al7en begoul mayta 3alay nazla waray!

Lama grabbed the wallet, locked the car and walked inside, she saw Barak checking his pockets.

Lama: nisaita!

Barak smiled: mashkoura

Lama didn’t smile back, they stood in front of the cashier waiting for their order.

Barak: Lama.. lay mita?

Lama: lain ana aqarir shbnsawe!!

Barak: kaifich

Lama: adri!

Barak smiled.

Barak: tara ma 3indhom soft drinks fa 6alabtlich-

“BARAK?”

Lama couldn’t believe her ears, it was a woman’s voice that just called Barak, Lama looked at Barak and he was shocked and she knew it.

She turned around and saw a lady standing, with her skinny jeans, heels, dark lips and black long hair.

“Fay?”
