She walked through the white cold hallways, she checked every room number until she found it 145.

She took a deep breath & knocked on the door.

Bibi entered the room, walked a few steps & looked at her left and found him

She got closer to him & put her hands on his & whispered

She held his hand tighter

She shook him gently but he didn’t respond

Bibi was silent…she didn’t know what to say... she didn’t know if all of this was real or one of her weird dreams, she closed her eyes & took a deep breath.

Bibi stood up & went closer to Bandar's bed; she sat down on the chair beside him

Um Bandar wiped her tears then stood up & walked towards the door

She looked at his face, his lips were dry, and the purple bruise under his eyes was mixed with blue lines, His white bandied had small drops of blood

Mansour's family were Bibi's neighbors in her parent's house, after her parents death Bibi left the house to live with her grandparents.

The doctor left the room

She went back to her chair
